The owners of this home purchased it while it was purple….floor to ceiling, inside and out.  Their main goal was to de-purple it into a modern, simple home that was warm and functional for their family of four.  Dave + Theresa are former neighbors of ours.  It was bittersweet when they moved from our neighborhood to the West Hills; they were great neighbors, but they moved into a new house with a lot of potential.  I was honored when they wanted to work with Absolute Interior Design.

Purple plumbing fixtures, purple tile, and purple paint were removed.  Edge-grain fir flooring, resin recycled panels, sapele mahogany casework, lighted vanity mirrors, and quartz countertops were installed.

The process was fast and went incredibly smoothly thanks to the contractor, Riedman Home Construction. They started the demo in April and the house was move-in ready by October. Theresa + Dave and their two young sons are enjoying their refreshed home just in time for the holidays.
